Servicios de ayuda para inmigrantes

En el blog British Columbia 2010, encontramos una herramienta en línea para buscar servicios de ayuda para inmigrantes en el resto de Canadá (para Québec debemos consultar los servicios ofrecidos por el MICC):

Se trata de una herramienta para buscar lugares donde podamos acceder a servicios comunitarios de  búsqueda de empleo, idiomas, ayuda en labores diarias, ayuda en la adaptación a la vida en Canadá, y servicios del gobierno como obtención de  la licencia de conducir, cuidado de la salud, pasaporte y beneficios gubernamentales.


Por ejemplo, si queremos averiguar sobre los servicios comunitarios generales para recién llegados (como buscar alojamiento, médico de familia o colegio para los chicos), debemos indicar  nuestra condición (residentes permanentes) y la ciudad más próxima (por ejemplo Ottawa)  


Como resultado obtendremos una relación de los lugares a donde nos podemos dirigir de acuerdo al servicio elegido:
